The Bloemfontein Golf Course is an 18-hole, 72 Par Parklands Golf Course with Kikuyu Grass Fairways and Greens. The course is 6 344 meters in length.

The Course was originally designed by Bob Grimsdell and later upgraded and redesigned by Matchovich and Hayes. Golf first began in Bloemfontein back in 1894 and although steeped in tradition, over the past 120 years, the Golf Club has grown and improved with the times. The standard of the course has always been important to its members and so continuously improves the condition of the course and from time to time makes minor changes to the layout so as to keep the course a constant challenge for its players.

The course is a tough one, however if your short game and putting are on form, your scorecard will be what you are hoping for. Water hazards are a real threat on this layout and the last five holes are some of the toughest in the country.

The Bloemfontein Club is proud to have hosted the exhibition match between Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player back in 1966 and it continues to host to the Vodacom Origins of Golf Tournament on the Sunshine Tour each year.

The Golf Course offers full standard facilities including function and boardroom venues.
