South Africa
plekke wat jy nooit sal vergeet nie

The N7 National route runs all along the West Coast from Cape Town in the Western Cape to the border post of Namibia at Vioolsdrif in the Northern Cape.  After crossing the border, it changes designation to B1 and runs up to Windhoek and the north of Namibia. It is a favourite and extensively used route for viewing the Namaqualand daisies - or 'the flowers' as they are fondly referred to - between the months of June to September, depending on the rains.

There are many interesting towns worth a visit on this approximately 600 km stretch of road including Malmesbury, Mooreesburg, Piketberg, Clanwilliam, Vanrynsdorp, Garies and  Springbok.

The portion of this road within Cape Town is a freeway, but it becomes a single-carriageway shortly after exiting the limits of the Mother City.
