The Storms River Suspension Bridge is situated in the Tsitsikamma Region in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

The suspension bridge will always be one of the most popular tourist attractions along the Garden Route. It is located within the Tsitsikamma National Park section of the Garden Route National Park and forms part of the Mouth Hiking Trail. Visitors can choose to visit only the bridge, about a 40 minute walk, or to take the full 2 km Trail.

The 77 metre suspension bridge hangs only 7 metres above the churning waters at the mouth of the Storms River, where it enters the foamy Indian Ocean. It was originally built in 1969, but the San Parks Board has since rebuilt it to ensure its stability and safety. The pathway leading to the bridge is a fairly easy walk, just plenty of steps! The walk alone though is worth the while as the boardwalk winds through 900 metres of the Tsitsikamma Forest before coming to a steep decline to meet up with the suspension bridge.

The walk includes a few lookout points where visitors can rest while enjoying magnificent views of the ocean. There are plenty of birds to spot along the way and from the bridge it is quite common to see paddlers and divers heading out to explore the wild waters.
