Umkomaas Gholgklub

Started in 1913, the Umkomaas Golf Course celebrated its Centenary in 2013.

The Clubhouse was originally constructed in the early thirties at a cost of £ 3000 and has served the Club well since then with continuous improvement and dedicated maintenance over the years. It is well situated at the first Tee with a verandah overlooking the practice green and with a 180 ° sea view.

This delightful 18 Hole course is Home course to both Tim Clark (US PGA) and Garth Mulroy who plays the European PGA circuit.

The Club has a vibrant atmosphere, and there is always something to do, ranging from Bingo and Quiz evenings in the large Pub area, to tournaments that are run throughout the year. The Sardine Run Golf Tour, for example, is held over 3 days in June, and is an annual joint competition held on both the Scottburgh and Umkomaas courses.
