Albatross Plage in Kabeljous, Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape
Albatross Beach on the Jeffreys Bay Coast is a favourite amongst locals. It is a sheltered beach and reef break that has dependable surf, although in summer it tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the southwest. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell angle is from the south-southwest.
It can get crowded here and one needs to beware of sharks, rocks, and mussel shells.
