Biyamiti Weir

The Biyamiti weir is situated on the Biyamiti river on the S139.

The Biyamiti catchment area is the heart of the central southern Kruger. The river supports tracts of riverine woodland, which can best be experienced at Jock's Safair lodge or Biyamiti camp.

The Biyamiti weir ensures a reliable source of water during the year. A variety of birds like hamerhead, black crake, three banded plover can be seen around here.

Crocodiles, elephant,  hippos, monitor lizard and even leopard have been seen at this spot.
