Klaserie Karavaanpark in Hoedspruit & vicinity, Limpopo

Situated 27km from Hoedspruit on the Guernsey road next to Klaserie Dam our resort is an ideal break-away for a magnificent bushveld experience. Being centrally located you are 40km from the Kruger National Park and a mere 10 minutes drive to some of the most well known big five lodges. Should you require the need for some real African game drives all will be arranged at the office for an additional charge. 

We offer an experience for the whole family with specimen angling and a swimming pool. Small boats and canoes are available for hire for those of you who would like to roam the waters of the dam. Our local wildlife roams the resort so do not be surprised if you get an uninvited guest for lunch. 

Accommodation

We supply you with the option of staying in one of our famous fully fitted tented camps or if you require the comfort of your home our chalets would be the ideal option. Camping and caravan sites along the banks of the dam are also a popular option. All camp sites are supplied with power outlets and your own personal braai with borehole water at each site.

Chalets

Our chalets are fitted for your comfort with all bedding supplied. With a double bed and double bunk you can sleep four people comfortably.Kitchens are fully fitted from a fridge down to knives & forks, pots and a kettle for you to prepare your own bushveld meal. Each chalet has it's own private verandah and braai for you to relax and braai in true African style.

Tented Camps

With your own verandah and braai area overlooking the dam this is the ideal place for a romantic sundowner. Kitchens are fully fitted for self catering needs with everything you would need to make your own african meal. Sleeping is a joy with a double bed as well as a double bunk to accommodate four people. Bathrooms are situated in close proximity for your convenience. All Safari tents are facing the dam and are the perfect choice for fishing.

Camping & Caravanning

Camping with your tent or caravan is a dream come true right next to the banks of the dam. With each site you have your own braai and power outlet and fresh borehole water. There are specimen angling or small boats to roam around the water in ensuring you enjoy your time with us. Bathrooms are situated in close proximity for your convenience.

Fishing

All fish are CATCH & RELEASE. Carp are to be handled in the water with specimen landing net and un-hooking mat. The weighing of carp and photos will also be in the water. Specimen rigs are required for carp. A Un-hooking mat and landing net can be provided if you don't have your own.
