Camps Bay is very popular, with both locals and holiday makers, in Cape Town. Glen Beach, is the moderately quieter beach virtually adjoining the famous Camps Bay Beach.

Glen Beach is a nice small beach with the fantastic backdrop of the mountain and is an absolute gem of a find! During season, despite being less well known than neighbouring Clifton 4th Beach, you will still need to get to the beach fairly early to ensure a good spot as it can become crowed with surfers and bikini clad youngers! It is famous for its beach-break surfing opportunities – be mindful of, and courteous too, of the fiercely territorial resident surfers whose ‘locals only’ graffiti decorates the beach wall.

The gorgeous snow-white sandy beach is set in a small enclave, flanked by huge granite boulders which increases its picturesque cove-like setting plus provides a shield from the South Easter wind. Glen Beach is conveniently located near the Camps  Bay strip with its numerous shops, restaurants, cocktail bars and the popular Theatre on the Bay.
