Luxury Safari Golfing

Without any doubt, the Leopard Creek Golf Course near Malelane in Mpumalanga, offers the best wildlife / safari golfing experience in the country. The course borders the world famous Kruger National Park, separated only by the winding Crocodile River.

The course is an 18-hole, 72 Par Parklands style golf course with Kikuyu Grass Fairways and Bent Grass Greens. The course is 6 533 meters in length.

The golf course was designed by the one and only, Gary Player. He was particularly proud of his design of the 18th Hole with its island green. The 5th Hole is another memorable experience for golfers at Leopard Creek, as the green is right on the edge of the Crocodile River offering stunning views up the river and into the Kruger Park.

Most of the water is home to Crocodiles, as the naming of the river implies, and sightings of game such as Buffalo, Hippo, Elephants, Antelope and of course Crocodiles is commonplace, on the course or on the border of the Kruger Park. Unusual hazards for the golfer and a dream for the safari enthusiast!

The Country Estate has made every effort to ensure that the Course is indeed one of the finest and lushest playing surfaces in the country. The facilities are of the highest standards and the all-round experience is undoubtedly one of the best in the country.
