South Africa
skoonheid jy sal nooit vergeet nie

On the Dolphin Coast, surrounded by coastal dunes, lies the beautiful Zinkwazi Beach, situated in the small village of Zinkwazi. This small, protected beach is one of many beaches on this stretch of coastline that form part of a nature conservatory.

The Zinkwazi beach is a great place for adults and children, with life savers present (in season) and the famous “Container” Pizza store right at the entrance - families of all kinds can enjoy their day here! There is also a beach bar and restaurant that serves scrumptious bar food, the perfect place to grab a bite while listening to the waves.

With a Blue Flag status in progress, you can be assured that this beach is clean and has a range of amenities such as ablutions and clean water. This is such a beautiful beach with a chilled atmosphere – a beach for everyone, a swimming section, a boat launch area, a surfing spot and rock and tidal pools that are home to a wide variety of sea life!

The lagoon is a glorious spot for picnics and is great for kids, inexperienced swimmers or even the those who just prefer to float and relax in the water. If you feel like getting a little more active, there are also ferry rides across the 500  metre stretch of water.

Healthy and active waves, plus shark nets, makes this the perfect spot for surfers! Zinkwazi beach is an all-round beautiful place and an incredible beach!
