Mac Mac Pools in Thaba Chweu Platteland, Mpumalanga

Mac Mac Pools is a popular picnic area in a shallow rocky river which drops into a series of naturally formed swimming pools. These crystal clear, cool water pools make for refreshing swimming and splashing after a hot day's sightseeing.

There are shelters and picnic spots with braai facilities, toilets and a beautiful nature trail. This lovely walk winds its way to the base of the Mac Mac falls, providing magnificent views of the falls from below.
