Shitlhave Dam in Southern Region, Kruger National Park, Limpopo

The short detour to Shitlave Reservoir is well worth the effort as you have a good chance of spotting waterbuck, elephant, kudus, hippos, baboons and even the odd rare eland.

The reservoir is situated on the same belt of gabbro from which Ship Mountain protrudes and was named after the ranger Jafuta Shitlhave.
