Liberty Midlands Mall, fondly referred to as the Jewel of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, serves residents in the greater Pietermaritzburg area and the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands.  On completion of phase three in early 2018, the size of the centre will have increased by 20 000 square metres to an approximate total of 78 000 square metres of retail happiness!

Now home to over 200 local and global retail stores, Liberty Midlands Mall, offers a unique retail experience by fusing indigenous inspiration with international style through its assorted mix of fashion, food and leisure, attracting millions of shoppers each year. The design of the Mall drew its inspiration from the Zulu Kingdom and the shopping mall is draped in African culture and pride. From the direction of Durban

Stay on the N3 heading to Pietermaritzburg. Do not turn off N3 or take Durban Road entrance.

Take the Chatterton/Armitage off-ramp. Get to a traffic circle and go around traffic circle and take second left.

You will see Liberty Midlands Mall on you right hand side and you can use entrance 1, 2 or 3 to enter.

From direction of Johannesburg

Stay on the N3 heading to Pietermaritzburg. Take off-ramp 83. You will see a sign displaying MIDLANDS MALL.

Keep left and you will see Liberty Midlands Mall on your left. You can use Entrance 1, 2 or 3 to enter.
