Scottburgh Beach

Scottburgh Beach is located on the South Coast in KwaZulu Natal and it certainly has everything to suit anyone’s description of beach fun.

There is a lagoon nearby perfect for spending the afternoon canoeing, canoes are available to hire at the beach, and the warm ocean offers a safe, netted area to swim with lifeguards on duty to ensure everyone’s safety. The rock pool is another fun way to get wet and enjoy the warm water!

However, there is more than just sand and the ocean, there is a super tube and a putt-putt course and the soft sands welcome all visitors to stretch their legs on a long walk alongside the waves or just to stretch them out for a relaxing tanning session.

You will find yourself spoiled for choice when looking for a place to eat, there are take away spots, sit down restaurants and a quaint cocktail bar to grab a drink on a hot day too. The beachfront also offers surf shops to look for great gear or some new beach wear. The curio shops stock some interesting holiday trinkets and of course the locals are always selling their handcrafted items to any holiday makers looking to support the community!

Scottburgh beach is a great family beach, make sure to bring everyone when visiting, even grandma!
