The Nederburg Wine Estate lies picture perfect beneath the majestic Drakenstein Mountains in the heart of the Cape Winelands. This famous Wine Farm has become an integral feature of the landscape and the “go-to” option for wine lovers who visit the area.

Philippus Wolvaart, back in 1791, acquired the Klein Drakenstein farm and renamed it Nederburg and born out of passion, Nederburg was built with a vision of the future from day one. Today the 49 hectare Estate produces some of South Africa’s greatest wines and has become a household name with all wine devotees across the country.

The Wine Estate offers wine and food pairings that give their guests some great ideas on how to best partner any wine with any wine. Annual events make the Nederburg a premier place to visit on days such as the “Nederburg Auction” or “Nederburg Concert Series” where exclusive “only sold from the Estate” wines can be purchased.

At Nederburg it’s all about the Wine and the Farm producers a Foundation Range that is designed to please even the pickiest of wine drinkers. The Nederburg Lyric, a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chadonnay and Chenin Blanc, designed to provide a crisp dry wine. Some of the other popular ranges are the Ingenuity, Manor House and Winemaster Reserve Ranges. There are so many fans of the Nederburg Wine, it is no wonder it has won so many awards over the years!
