The 2018 South African Book Fair is a three-day programme of events which presents a diverse set of topics and activities for visitors from all walks of life.

From pre-schoolers to the most avid book lovers, the Book Fair will be overflowing with things to do and see. Included in the event is a vault of books that will entertain, inform and educate visitors of all ages. The South African Library for the Blind will showcase tactile books, promoting a positive reading experience for the blind and visually impaired.

The 2018 Fair brings a host of newcomers and well-known local writers will engage in inspiring discussions and fiery debates everything from current issues, politics and publishing to philosophy, African superheroes and food! Children will be entertained by Storytellers and a delightful production of The Little Prince will run daily!

Visitors will also be able to visit a pop-up poetry platform, be inspired by current Authors and even have their taste buds tickled by SA’s celebrity Chef, David Higgs.
