The Goods Shed Flea Market in Mossel Bay, Western Cape

The Goods Shed Flea Market is situated in Mossel Bay in the Western Cape, South Africa.

This market is well known and can be found at the entrance to the Harbour, in a historic sandstone building (1902) which serves as a landmark in Mossel Bay. It was re-opened in December 2011 by the Municipality to assist with job creation and to support small business development.

The flea market gives preference to exhibitors with unique products and shoppers can find items from original hand crafted crafts, jewelry, men’s and ladies clothing, accessories, books and toys to South African food products, spices, sweets and even an opportunity to have your “Old Time” photo taken. There is also plenty of entertainment for the young including a 5D Cinema and 3D virtual Reality ride.

Visitors will be kept busy for the entire morning or afternoon as there are many shops to browse through and when taking a break there are a few stalls to grab a bite to eat or perhaps take a seat in Little Italy for an enjoyable lunch. The Goods Shed is a must visit for holiday makers in need of some retail therapy.
